Matthew E. O'Neil (born March 7, 1976 Newton, Massachusetts) is a journalist and writer. The Everipedia articles that he has created have been regenerated to History Today's website.[58] He graduated with Bachelor of Science from Colorado Christian University (CCU) in 2001 with a degree in Computer Information Systems Management. CCU has a main campus in Lakewood, Colorado. He competed in USA Boxing sanctioned matches in 1998 and 1999.[70]

As of February 2021, he is ranked as the #1 all time editor for Everipedia.

His articles are on Facebook groups and Reddit and have been used as a reference for articles for the website Plex.page.[67] Everipedia has been used as a source for the Daily Mail and the U.K. newspaper The Independent.[45] [50]

Everipedia also created a partnership the Associated Press in 2020.[47] The company is run for profit and it has a business office on Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica, California.[49] Everipedia (Cryptocurrency) has a supply cap of at least $140 million US dollars. He is listed as an author at Amazon.com, and was issued Amazon Standard Identification Numbers by the company.[73] O'Neil was published by Amazon.com in Canada, Germany, Australia, United States, and the United Kingdom in 2021. He has shows on Spotify and Deezer. O'Neil is on Amazon Music in thirteen different countries.[75]

O'Neil graduated from Plymouth North High School in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1994. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a teenager and earned thirty credits. O'Neil graduated from with a B.S. degree from Colorado Christian University in 2001 and a M.B.A. from Regis University in 2004. He also graduated with an A.A.S. from the Community College of the Air Force on February 11, 1999 with a degree in Information Systems Technology. In 2013, he passed 18 credits with a C average from American Business and Technology University. O'Neil discussed religion on the Denver based podcast The Never Ending Hijrah on August 19, 2020. He was on the show at the 16:57 mark.[19]

O'Neil set up face to face agency acquisition interviews for Nationwide Insurance agents on behalf of Northfield Leads Inc. in 2017 and 2018. He had a salaried position for Harvard University in 2002. He worked unassisted at the base communications center on Schriever Air Force Base in 2000.

In September 2020, he hosted the Everipedia Boxing Show which is found on Blogtalkradio.[24] The program is on Google Podcasts.[29] It is also available on Deezer, Soundcloud [31] and Spotify. Spotify is on the New York Stock Exchange.[30]

He ran for Clark County Commission in Nevada against Rory Reid in 2006 and lost. O'Neil had social security retirement (40 points) as well as a B.S. and M.B.A. from accredited universities on election night. Rory Reid's father, Harry Reid, was a U.S. Senator from 1987 to 2016 and Harry Reid International Airport was named after him in 2021. O'Neil has been a registered Republican since 2012.[74]

O'Neil was on the Fight News Unlimited Combat Sports Show with Rich Bergeron on June 19, 2020.[14] The Wes Watson article that he created has over 12,000 views. The Ori Spado article that he created has over 9,800 views. The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Logan Paul page that he created over 5,200 views. O'Neil also created the John Gotti III page which has over 10,000 views. He contacted SAG Boston and has created many articles on actors listed in the Internet Movie Database. O'Neil has made Everipedia pages on many semi professional football leagues.[60][61]

He competed in two USA Boxing sanctioned bouts winning both by stoppage. He knocked out Jeffrey Naquin for a ten count. Naquin was a scholarship athlete on the 1991 LSU Tigers baseball team. Naquin was also on the 1993 LSU Tigers baseball team. Both teams won the College World Series. Naquin's signed 1991 LSU National Baseball team baseball bat is for sale on the website WorthPoint. O'Neil tko'd 1997-1998 all army superheavyweight champion Preston Hartzog in 1999. Hartzog was in the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program on Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. That program is heavily funded. Hartzog won fifteen professional boxing matches between 2001 and 2005, losing only one close decision. Hartzog had a draw in a professional boxing match against Ultimate Fighting Championship pioneer Patrick Smith. In 1993, Smith was ranked number one as a superheavyweight kickboxer in the United States and he held a number five ranking internationally. Hartzog beat Preston Hartzog in a mixed martial arts fight at Neal S. Blaisdell Center on November 14, 2000. Correira competed in four Ultimate Fighting Championship events from 2002 to 2004. He also defeated Eric Esch and Tank Abbott. Correira's signed UFC Vintage glove sold for $70 or best offer on eBay in 2019. Hartzog won the United States Armed Forces Championship in the superheavyweight division in 1997.

O'Neil was inspired to release his amateur boxing career because of the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match. McGregor made one of the largest paydays in boxing history without a noteworthy amateur boxing win. O'Neil's boxing career was covered by Intuboxing in April 2020. He was on the Ringside Reporter in September 2020.[26]

O'Neil has spoken with representatives from Mayweather Promotions by phone and has created pages for many of their top fighters.

Tyson Fury is the lineal/WBC heavyweight champion and his bouts are promoted by Top Rank in the United States. O'Neil created Everipedia pages for New York Golden Gloves boxers Mitchell Rose, Gary Bell and Zab Judah. He contacted Bell and Rose via Facebook to verify their personal information. O'Neil contacted Star Boxing Inc. and DiBella Entertainment by phone and created their pages. He created the page Bruce Silverglade and updated the Gleason's Gym page. He also created the Matthew Hilton vs. Buster Drayton page.

He created the page Tommy Morrison and updated the page Tommy Morrison. He contacted Morrison's former boxing trainer John Bray and updated his page. Morrison was the co-star of Rocky V. O'Neil created the page Trent Morrison and gave a copy to the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

Don King Productions

O'Neil spoke with Paul Vaden by phone in March 2020 where they spoke about Vaden's career. O'Neil reedited Vaden's Everipedia page. He also created the pages Dana Jamison, Michael Marley and King Ipitan; all three people have been affiliated with Don King Productions. He re-edited Siarhei Liakhovich.

Ori Spado

O'Neil corresponded with Ori Spado through Facebook and Linkedin and created the pages The Accidental Gangster and Ori Spado. Spado was personal friends with John Franzese for over forty years. He created the Anthony Ruggiano Jr. and Gregory Sam Vita pages.

Ratt

He contacted Tom Vitorino by phone and told him that he updated the Ratt and Stephen Pearcy pages. Pearcy is the lead singer of Ratt. Vitorino is the manager of Ratt. Ratt has four multi-platinum albums.
