It was headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company was founded in September 2012 by two-time European boxing champion, Matthew Macklin and Daniel Kinahan. MTK Global (Mack The Knife Global) was a boxing and mixed martial arts management and event promotions company.
Since its founding, MTK Global signed a host of world class fighters, including Tyson Fury, Billy Joe Saunders, Josh Taylor, Carl Frampton, Terry Flanagan, Charlie Edwards, Rocky Fielding, Hughie Fury, Michael Conlan, Paddy Barnes, Jamel Herring and Amancio Paraschiv.
MTK Global delivered a wide range of support and services to more than 300 fighters including athlete management, events and promotions, PR and sponsorships legal and media consultation.
Lee Eaton worked for the company as a manager and promoter beginning in 2016. MTK Global partnered with Top Rank, Don King Productions, and Frank Warren's Queensberry promotions. Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II, and Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III took place in Las Vegas, Nevada and generated over 100 million dollars in revenue.

History
Name Change
MTK Global originally formed as MGM, an acronym for Macklins Gym Marbella, starting out as a boxing gym in Marbella, Spain in September 2012.
In 2017, following lengthy talks with MGM Resorts International over a naming dispute, MGM rebranded to MTK Global.
In March 2019, it was announced that MTK Global and Top Rank had signed a multi-year deal that would see MTK's events broadcast exclusively on ESPN platforms in the United States. Top Rank founder Bob Arum said of the deal;
MTK Global manages a vast number of A-list fighters from around the globe.
This deal will enable Top Rank, through the ESPN family of networks, to afford viewers in the United States the opportunity to see these great fighters perform.
Formed Partnerships
In November 2019, it was announced MTK Global had entered a partnership with The Academy of Sports and Education to form the MTK National Boxing and Education Academy, a programme for 16–18 year old teenagers, aimed at enabling young people to gain relevant qualifications relating to a career in the sport of boxing, whether that be as a professional boxer, physiotherapist, coach or in sports journalism.
The first academy was opened in London in January 2020.
CEO/President
Bob Yalen
Bob Yalen became President and CEO of MTK Global in 2020.
He has held numerous high-level positions within the world of combat sports.
He was instrumental to the boxing coverage of ABC Sports for over 20 years, as well as producing the boxing coverage for NBC Sports at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. Yalen replaced Sandra Vaughan who stepped down from the CEO position after three successful years.[2] Yalen resigned his position with MTK Global in April 2022.[14]
