Stefanie Lynn Nassar (née Stefanie Lynn Anderson) is a Physician Assistant and mother of three based out of Lansing, Michigan [4] [5]. She is the former wife of disgraced USA Gymnastics Doctor, Larry Nassar. She filed for divorce in the year January 2017 prior to Larry Nassar's trial for sexual abuse. Personal Life
In October 19, 1996, Stefanie Lynn Anderson married Larry Nassar at St. John’s Catholic Church in East Lansing, Michigan. The couple later had three children. Their first child, a daughter, was born in 2001, followed by another daughter in 2004 and a son in 2006. [1]
Divorce

On January 25, 2017 Stefanie Nassar filed for divorce from Larry Nassar and asked for custody of their three children. [3] The divorce came after he was charged with the sexual assault of multiple patients in November, 2017. Stefanie later received sole legal and physical custody of all three children. Neither Stefanie, nor her children, showed up at Larry's sentencing where Larry was relegated to 40-175 years in jail. [2] [10]
Stefanie Nassar was also named in a lawsuit after referring Alaina Bamfield to her ex-husband. The two lived in a 1,500-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom house they bought in 1998. [9]
Education
Stefanie Nassar graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science. In 1999, Stefanie graduated from the University of Detroit, Mercy with a Master of Science from their Physician Assistant program. Stefanie Nassar also has her National Board Certification for Physician Assistants. [4]
