Release
Most of the songs from Snow Rose saw a release on City Girl's Soundcloud before the release of the album as a whole.[3] Each of the songs had a unique picture of a rose on top of a background, typically a city, as its album art. The first to be released was "to be honest i just want to eat noodles with you" on August 22, 2017.[4] It was followed by "endless steps through the concrete woods and into your heart" on September 4, 2017;[5] "a light is never dim, cold, or alone" on September 17, 2017;[6] "soundlessly in the wind like lost souls" on September 27, 2017;[7] "streets that blossom empty echoes and serenades" on October 8, 2017;[8] "snow rose" on October 15, 2017;[9] "always in reverse" on October 27, 2017;[10] "château fountain" on November 5, 2017;[11] and "winter fields" on November 13, 2017.[12] "anything like her" and "if you were with me" did not see individual releases on Soundcloud prior to the album's release. They were included in the Soundcloud upload of the album in its entirety, which was released on the day of the album's release on Bandcamp and other major platforms.[13]
