Neon Impasse is the third full-length album by Californian lo-fi artist City Girl. The album released on July 2, 2018.[1]
Release
Leading up to the release of City Girl's previous albums, a good portion of the tracklist would be released before the release of the album through City Girl's Soundcloud.[3] Neon Impasse marked a turning point in this release schedule, as only one track was shared through Soundcloud prior to the album's release. "Mist Beneath Your Apartment" was added to City Girl's Soundcloud on June 25, 2018, and the title of the upload revealed the album's release date of July 2.[4] The rest of the songs would only be uploaded to Soundcloud through a singular upload of the entire album that was released on the same day that Neon Impasse released on Bandcamp and major platforms.[5]
