Facebook Live Shooting
On February 14, 2017, Breunna Ward was wounded when a gunman opened fire as she and her boyfriend Lazarec Collins drove down an alley in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago. Lazarec, who was in the passenger side of the vehicle and Lavontay, who was in the back seat of the vehicle, were fatally wounded in the shooting.
Devon L. Swan, 26, has been charged in the triple shooting that had taken the lives of Lavontay White Jr. and Lazarec Collins. He is current being held by the Cook County Department of Corrections without bond.
