Brian Gibbs

Brian Gibbs is an American Musician, Instructor, and Business Executive based in Silicon Valley. He is the CFO and Treasurer of Skyline Entertainment and Publishing. [1]

Early Life & Education

Gibbs grew up in Hollister, California. He graduated from San Benito High School

Gibbs earned his Associates in Music from Hartnell College and later a Bachelor's in Music from the Berklee College of Music.

Career

Professionally, Gibbs has 25+ years in finance and has worked with major corporations, small businesses, consumers, investors, mortgage bankers, and more.

He retired from the industry in 2016 to pursue other endeavors.

He is the Treasurer of the Audio Engineering Society (San Francisco Chapter), a volunteer at AES conventions, and a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

As an educator, Gibbs has taught the class "Music as a Language" in Morgan Hill, California. He is one of the premier FOH Engineers in Northern California and has worked with Regional, National and International touring acts. He is a producer at Tool Shed Studios and has worked extensively with Polo Jones.

Gibbs received recognition as Assistant Engineer (pre-production) for the 2015 Grammy-winning album Realidades by Los Tigres del Norte.
