About
Big Flower Fight
The series puts ten duos of florists, sculptors and garden designers to the test as they compete in a series of themed challenges to create large-scale flower installations.
It's been put together by ITV Studios-owned Multistory Media. It was commissioned by Lucy Leveugle and Nathaniel Grouille.[2]
Each episode will test various types of creative and practical skills, from floristry to carpentry and landscaping.
The materials each pair can use to design their installation will change week-by-week, and the participants will have to think of plants which give back to the environment – such as pollinating, insect-friendly species.
One team will be eliminated each week as the competition intensifies, leaving just three teams to battle it in their bid to be crowned champions.
Judges
Ten creative teams will compete to create “the biggest, boldest garden sculptures” across eight one-hour episodes and floral expert Kristen Griffith-VanderYacht will judge the competitors’ garden installations.
Kristen said:
"My mission is to help flowers finally get the respect they deserve.
This isn't your basic bunch of blooms.
This is the real deal.
So buckle up and get your shovel ready for some farm fresh floral fantasy realness!"
Other expert judges making an appearance in the show are; Simon Lycett, James Wong, James Alexander-Sinclair, Sarah Eberle and Sophie Walker.
Winner
The overall winner of The Big Flower Fight will have the honour of designing their own sculpture which will be put on display in London’s Royal Botanic Gardens. [5]

Controversy
The host of the show Vic Reeves revealed that contestants resorted to cheating in a series challenging them to create huge floral installations .
Reeves said rivalry between the teams descended into dirty tricks up their sleeves.[10]
“It’s quite tense because they haven’t got much time.
And there are other people - mentioning no names - who go and steal off other people,”
the comedian said.
“There have been moments of theft.
Which has been noted by the judges.
There’s a high level of competitiveness now.”
