Gaming Career

She started playing video games when she was 6 years old using a PlayStation bought by her father to keep her and her brothers calm. [8]
SSSniperWolf, also known as Lia, specializes in gameplay videos for Activision's immensely popular first-person shooter Call of Duty. She often creates and wears unique videogames and anime cosplays. Her gaming name, SSSniperwolf, comes from the video game Metal Gear Solid. She has a popular video called "Misty Cosplay (Black Ops 2 Zombies)" where she cosplayed as Abigail "Misty" Briarton from the aforementioned video game. In 2014, she started a second channel, LittleLiaWolf, which she uses for DIY videos. [24]
In spring 2020, Shelesh won "Favorite gamer" at the Kids Choice Awards 2020, beating out DanTDM, GamerGirl, Ninja, and PrestonPlayz. SSSniperWolf had to accept the award virtually due to concerns over Coronavirus (COVID-19).[46]
Kids Choice Awards Controversy
Youtube video where she mentions the arrest
On March 23, 2019, SSSniperwolf won Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.[34] But she saw plenty of backlash and criticism following her win. One of the loudest critics was YouTuber Daniel Keemstar Keem who believed that Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Belvins should have taken home the honor.[39]
Taking to his Twitter account, KEEMSTAR stated that the Kids Choice Awards are "100% BS" and are "based on literally nothing" and then went on to state how it was comical that she had won the Gamer of the Year award over Ninja.
One of the main reasons that KEEMSTAR and plenty of other members of the gaming community had for being upset with Sssniperwolf winning the Gamer of the Year award was that the she has often been accused of not providing her own gameplay for her videos stating that her boyfriend would play with Sssniperwolf commentating over the footage in order to pass the gameplay on as her own.[39]
Another major complaint regarding Sssniperwolf winning the Kids Choice Gamer of the Year award was that her content is no longer associated with gaming compared to Ninja who has helped push video game culture into the mainstream during his massive rise in popularity with Fortnite Battle Royale on Twitch and Youtube.[39]
Niece Waidhofer YouTube Copyright Claim Controversy
In February 2020, SSSniperWolf criticized Instagram model Niece Waidhofer after she filed a copyright claim on a video where the YouTuber used an image of her in the thumbnail.[47]
The strike in question came from Waidhofer, who posted an image of herself to the /r/roastme subreddit.
She was featured in the thumbnail for SSSniperWolf’s Reddit Roast Me challenge video, claiming that her image had been altered to make her “uglier” and used as “clickbait.”
“For someone who says things in her videos like “this is why I hate girls,” this is a super bitchy thing to do,” Niece posted on her Instagram.
“Flipping my photo horizontally and photoshopping my forehead bigger does not exempt you from copyright law, @sssniperwolf.”[47]
In her post, the model showed off the thumbnail in question with a screenshot, while swiping to the right would reveal a video that showed how the YouTuber’s upload had disappeared thanks to her claim.[47]
“By posting your pic you ASKED to get roasted on Reddit, and you COPY STRIKE my video because it has your face in it,” Alia said, before making a fair use claim.
“Your face and image is fair use.
This is very pathetic and low.”[47]

Arrests
In July 2013, she was arrested for armed robbery with Evan Sausage. [18] She claims to have made videos in the past explaining it, but chose to delete them for personal reasons. [18]
In August 2016, she was arrested for disorderly conduct. [17]
Personal Life
She used to live with fellow YouTuber Evan Sausage in Phoenix, AZ. She has two dogs named Kaz and Tuna. [24]
In July 2019, Alia has shown her audience how good she is living with a tour of her new Los Angeles home. The tour starts with a look at the front door, a massive glass panel that swings on a hinge found in the middle of the door, which Alia claims is "the same as Kylie Jenner’s."[38]
The interior of the all-white home has glass walls and massive rooms leading down a hallway that opens into open plan living area, complete with a massive television set, a huge sofa, and easy access to the luxurious kitchenette complete with a massive fridge stocked full of drinks.
Alia's office follows a similar design aesthetic, with a massive glass door that leads into an all-white room.
Her setup sits in a corner surrounded by audio foam, which she says is essential as the glass door makes it difficult to sound, with shelves across the back wall holding personal items and her gold Youtube plaque.[38]
The house comes with an air-conditioned wine cellar, a gigantic master bathroom which includes his and hers sinks and toilets, and a bedroom that overlooks the backyard.
Outside, the property plays host to a heated infinity pool and a hot tub, with views down the hillside and across the city, and also features an outside bar and a built-in BBQ.[38]
