Simone Morris is an independent Italian writer, photographer, traveler and naturalist. ^[1] The author's books focus mainly on forest, tree species, travel, the ancestral relationship of the human being in Mother Earth, which involves Pini Loricati nella nebbia (2017), L'essenza Del Viaggio A Piedi (2019).

Morris's first book, Pini Loricati nella nebbia, was published in July 2017. The photo-book describes through photographs and a poetic narration of an excursion on a foggy day among the Pinus heldreichii on the Pollino massif, ^[2] deepening the phylogenetic history of the species and introducing a new interpretation of the concept of wildness. ^[3]

Simone Morris in 2018 translates the photo-book Pini Loricati nella nebbia making it available also in modern English version under the name Loricati in the fog, publishing it in e-book format on the Amazon.com e-commerce platform.^[8]

L'essenza Del Viaggio A Piedi, was published in June 2019, and describes a journey on foot made in search a deep connection with the wild environment. In the book, an analysis of topics such as permaculture, bioregionalism, natural natural farming, the concept of the wayfarer and wildness is offered through the journey on foot. ^[4][5][6][7]
