Pini Loricati nella nebbia is a photobook by Italian writer Simone Morris published in 2017 about the entirely focused on the most ancient secular tree species present on the Italian territory: Pinus heldreichii. The photobook describes through photographs and a poetic narration during a hike on a foggy day on the Pollino massif, the Pinus heldreichii, deepening the phylogenetic history of the species and introducing a new interpretation of the concept of wildness.^[1][2][3]
