Biography
Early Life
Shannon holds his violin.
Born and raised in the state of Ohio, Shannon Satonori Lytle also grew up near the town of Youngstown. He is a first generation American. One of his parents is an immigrant and the other is a warehouse worker. [1]
Throughout his upbringing, he has experienced a laborious life having to help in the support of himself and his family.
When he was in High School, he flipped burgers at McDonald's so he could afford the privilege of taking the SAT.
He also worked to care and help feed his three baby siblings as well as putting them to bed.
Because of this he would stay up until early morning around 4 a.m. to do his work.
He would stick his laptop outside of his window to receive more signal from his neighbor's wifi in order to finish his homework assignments.
After his extracurricular activities at school, he would have to walk through the dangerous parts of the neighborhood as he couldn't afford a car.
Education
Shannon graduated from Harvard University with degree in Computer science in 2017. As a student, he formed a part of several clubs and society, including: Harvard National Model United Nations, Bach Society Orchestra, Asian American Association, Institute of Politics, Expressions Dance Company, Harvard Japan Society.
He also interned for entities of different businesses and organizations.
He first interned while he was in college for the AIDS Action Committee, Harvard Law Review, and for the Center for International Development.
He was the Head Director of the Harvard Taiwan Leadership Conference.
He was also a Teaching Fellow for the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences department.
While in college, he worked an array of odd jobs in order to pay for the travel expenses around the trips he took around the world.
Personal Life
Shannon is a skilled CS techie highly motivated by the Technology industry. He has travelled the world to intern and to also participate in events related to his field. He has travelled to India where he spent time interning for Sequoia Capital and Jana Care. He later travelled to Japan where he interned for Yahoo while living there.
