Hip Replacements
In the middle of the 2007 World Adventure Racing Championship in Scotland, Robyn was suddenly unable to move her right leg and fell to the ground. Her team finished in a 6th place. When she arrived home, an orthopedic surgeon discovered she had stage 4 osteoarthritis in both of her hips. Later, she had 4 hip replacements in 5 years, first 2 replacements failed.[76]
