On March 20, 2017, Rachel was arrested after a video showing her beating two of her young children went viral on social media. The video was posted by Devon Macijeski ^{[0] [5]}

Devon Macijeski posted the video of Rachel Pietro abusing two of her kids in an effort to get Child Protective Services to take the child out of Rachel's care. The video has received hundreds of shares and thousands of views. ^{[5] [-1]}

Rachel also threatened the children's lives in the video saying "I'll beat these kids to death or till their in the fucking hospital".

Rachel Pietro made the video of her beating the children to get her husband Keith's attention and sent it in a Facebook group chat ^[5]. Devon was in the group chat and only knew Rachel through Facebook. He immediately posted the video on Facebook with the caption "Smh ?? Rachel Pietro and Keith Allen Weber" in attempt to draw attention to her and get the kids removed from Rachel's care. ^{[-1] [-1]}

She has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault and second-degree child abuse. She is being held without bail. ^[5]
