Quinton Joe Robbins (March 21, 1997- October 1, 2017) [1] was a 20-year-old from Henderson, Nevada. He was one of the victims fatally killed in the Las Vegas mass shooting in October 2017.
Life and Activities
Quinton grew up in Henderson and attended Basic High School. Robbins went on to graduate from UNLV.
Quinton was employed as a Recreation Assistant at the City of Henderson Government.
In his free time, Quinton enjoyed hangout out with friends and doings activities such as lake trips, 2K tournaments, sports, fishing, and hunting.
In addition, Quinton coached several teams.
He was an assistant freshman boys basketball coach at Basic Academy, and volunteered to coach his younger brother's flag football team, as well as a youth T-ball team.
He is remembered for his competitive drive, genuine nature, and kindness towards others.
Death
On the evening of October 1, 2017, Robbins attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort. Quinton was shot and killed by a gunman (Stephen Paddock) who opened fire on the crowd from his hotel room.
A GoFundMe was created to help his parents pay for his funeral expenses. Within a week, it has raised over $44,000.
