Patrick Finnegan is an American Venture Capitalist and Generation Z Strategist. He is currently the managing Partner at TGZ Capital. Patrick is based in New York City.
Biography
Early Success
When Patrick was 12-years-old, he raised $10,000 for Barack Obama's Presidential campaign and was invited to the inauguration. Two years later, Finnegan built a coupon and social activity startup, Bula, that directly linked consumers and with retailers. In 2013, Finnegan and classmates at St. Andrew's School launched ONMSG, a profitable platform that built websites and social media campaigns for small and medium sized businesses. Finnegan‘s ONMSG generated over $100,000 in revenue in the first year.

Patrick dropped out of high school when he was 17 to start a Generation Z focused aggregated news app, WorldState.
In 2014, WorldState joined Widen+ Kennedy’s “Portland Incubator Experiment“ program where Finnegan gave the keynote address discussing the future of disruptive media.
In addition, he scaled World State into Limitless Times, a Generation Z media publication that garnered over 100,000 monthly page views.

Finnegan is a frequent speaker.
He has been invited by companies such as Marie Claire Magazine, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Publicis North America to discuss Generation Z and the future of luxury branding and marketing.

Finnegan owns a Generation Z focused marketing agency and works with companies including HAVAS, the app 8, and Hearst Magazines.
For them, Finnegan advises the companies’ brands on market strategy to reach his generation, connect with influencers, and grow organically.
