Montana Helena Klein Yao is a model based in Los Angeles, California. ^[9]

Montana Yao (born on August 5, 1997), at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, California. Her father Paul is from China and was born in Hong Kong. In 1965, he letter relocated to the United States and would serve in the United States Army from 1971 to 1974. Yao's mother is of English, Irish, & GermanGerman descent and grew up in the San Fernando Valley.^[13] Her father is a entrepreneur and her mother co-owns the global brand JaggerEdge. ^[13]

Montana Yao grew up in Pasadena, California and attended Maranatha High School for three years before graduating from Malibu High School. ^[6] Yao has worked as a hostess for Duke Malibu and Catch NYC. ^[9]

Yao won Miss Malibu Teen USA 2016, and earned a top ten at Miss California Teen USA 2016. ^[6] Yao is currently pursuing a career in modeling and acting. ^[13] In her career, Yao hopes to communicate a message of body positivity and self image to young girls. ^[13] She is represented by Newmark Models. ^[4] Yao is known for her videos of her freestyle rapping which were uploaded by multiple accounts on YouTube.^[1]
