She attended the high schools Lehman High School in Kyle, Texas and Herbert H. Lehman High School in Bronx, New York.

On August 24, 2016, Victoria Martens was drugged, sexually assaulted, and killed inside an Albuquerque, New Mexico apartment complex.

Michelle, Fabian Gonzales, the mother’s boyfriend; and his cousin, Jessica Kelley were arrested in the case.

Michelle and Gonzales confessed to injecting Victoria Martens with Methamphetamine to make her calm down so Gonzalez could have sex with her.

Victoria Martens was then sexually assaulted by Gonzales and Jessica Kelley before she was stabbed and strangled. The trio left Victoria's mutilated body wrapped in a blanket at the apartment complex after they set her on fire.

All three perpetrators face charges of child abuse resulting in death, tampering with evidence and kidnapping.

Michelle's bail was set to $1 million.
