Early Life and Education
Meghann Gunderman grew up in Charlotte and attended university in the United Kingdom at the University of St. Andrews. Meghann Gunderman earned her degree in International relations and Human geography in 2005. During her time in school, Gunderman traveled to Tanzania in 2004 to work on her thesis and volunteer at the Nkoaranga Orphanage. During that trip, she met four-year-old triplets, and was inspired to start a scholarship fund to educate and secure a better future for them. Career
Meghann started off her career working at Barclays in London and New York City on their sponsorship and marketing team. [7] She learned how to operate a large scale business and gained knowledge on efficient organizational procedures, as well as effective team management. [8] Meghann credits this skills as valuable tools when she launched The Foundation For Tommorow in 2006. [7]
The Foundation for Tomorrow is a non-profit organization that originally aimed to grant educational access to orphans in Tanzania.
The program has expanded to include a teacher training program, education reform, and a life-skills curriculum for vulnerable children.
