Max Beck is an American videographer and photographer based in Los Angeles, California. He has directed videos for the $uicideboy$, Ghostemane, Fat Nick, and Lil Peep. Beck also takes pictures of many different people and artists. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

During his middle school school years, Beck listened to Punk, Emo, and Pop punk, up until he started secondary school l, where his interest in rap began. He first began to shoot as a photographer after experimenting shooting music videos for local rappers in the San Francisco Bay Area. ^[5]

Beck stated in an interview with Masked Gorilla, he "faked it till he made it", eventually buying a used professional camera for $800.

Beck and his crew were directing music videos, even though they didn't have a camera and hired people to make it look like they were. ^[5]

His work eventually led him to shoot shows for rappers Fat Nick and Pouya.

He had just finished his first tour with Berner, a San Francisco Bay Area rapper signed to Taylor Gang Entertainment, when Beck met Fat Nick and Pouya, eventually going on tour with them and meeting the $uicideboy$. ^[5]

On October 18, 2018, the video he shot with the late rapper, Lil Peep,Cry Alone, was uploaded to YouTube. ^[3] The video was originally shot in May 2017, after he met up with the "Benz Truck" artist following one of his shows in San Francisco. It was around 1:00 a.m. when he saw Peep on Twitter asking if someone could bring him McDonald's in Berkeley. ^[3]
