Mary Jo Shannon (nee Campbell; born July 26, 1934) is well konwn as the mother of American Television (TV) personality Kris Jenner. ^[1] She has been featured alongside her daughter and grandchildren on the television show Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2007.

Mary Jo Campbell Shannon enrolled in the Fashionality Charms Academy when she was 15 years old, and later became a model.

She got married to her high school sweetheart by eighteen.

However, they were divorced two months later.

She founded Shannon & Co., a small children's clothing store in La Jolla, California, in 1980.
