Martyn Hett was a 29-year-old PR Specialist.

He was the Digital Manager at Rumpus PR, a firm in Altrincham that specializes in handling Social media for corporate clients. He currently resides in Stockport outside of Manchester.

Martyn attended the University of Liverpool for two years before transferring to the University of the Arts London. His reason for transferring was that his interest was not in business but rather media. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Media & Cultural Studies.

Throughout college, Martyn worked as a sales associate for H&M. Right after earning his degree, he became a Digital Manager at Rumpus PR. In addition, Martyn is a freelance writer and has been featured in The Huffington Post, Attitude magazine, and Manchester Evening News.

Martyn was in a relationship with his boyfriend, Russell Hayward.

For Christmas in 2016, he helped his mother's knitwear go viral and become a fashion sensation.

Martyn is remembered for his infectious smile, bubbly personality, and gentle spirit.

On the evening of May 22nd, Martyn and friends attended the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. After the show was over, two explosions went off resulting in the deaths of 19 people and 50 people injured. Martyn has not been heard from since the end of the concert.

It was later confirmed that Matt was one of the victims of the bombing.
