Las noches de Luciana

Las noches de Luciana

Las noches de Luciana is a Colombian television soap opera produced and broadcast by RCN Televisión between 2004 and 2005.[1]

It stars Paola Turbay and Renato Rossini, with the antagonistic participation of Andrea Guzmán, Javier Delgiudice, Verónica Orozco, Luis Fernando Hoyos and Marcela Gallego. It also featured a starring performance by Vicky Hernández and the launch of Shirley Gómez.

Argument

The story takes place in two different places: Isla Hermosa, a paradisiacal and remote place located in the Colombian Caribbean where Joaquin (Renato Rossini) lives, a man who loves his life in the beautiful beaches as a humble fisherman although he lives too far away from civilization but not only physically but in his mind as well.

On the other hand there is Bogotá, the capital city, cosmopolitan and bustling, where Luciana Rivas (Paola Turbay) lives, who is the star of a program called Las noches de Luciana.

She has it all: fame, fortune, money, suitors... but she still hasn't found the love of her life.

Things change when, by chance, a television set ends up in the remote Isla Hermosa, where the natives see something so magnificent for the first time.

When Joaquin watches the program "Las noches de Luciana" he is totally impressed with its beauty and his only goal is to find Luciana.

Thus, posing as a masseur, he goes beyond the frontiers of his imagination to the capital city, where he finally meets Luciana, who also falls in love with him.

However, she will have to decide whether to live in Isla Hermosa next to Joaquín with a humble but happy life or next to José Miguel (Javier Delgiudice) the owner of the channel that produces his program.

Luciana will have to face the betrayal and manipulation of Samuel (Luis Fernando Hoyos), her only brother, who has joined forces with Katia Lopera (Verónica Orozco), a chorus girl with quite high aspirations and capable of the worst in order to take Luciana's place.
