Kristin Anne Fisher is an Emmy Award-winning correspondent at Fox News Channel, based out of Washington, D.C.

Kristin Fisher's Parents Anna Lee Fisher and William Frederick Fisher were both astronauts with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

In 2011, Kristin married Walker Forehand, who works in the Consulting firm Promontory Financial Group in 2011. The couple first met while students in 2003 during a study abroad program in Athens.

Kristin Fisher grew up in Houston, Texas and has lived in both London, UK and Athens.

Kristin Fisher joined Fox News Channel as a Washington, D.C based correspondent in 2015.

In 2016, Kristin Fisher started reporting live on America's Election Headquarters 2016, a Fox show covering the United States presidential election, 2016.

In 2010, Kristin won an Emmy Award for her bi-weekly segments on heroes in the greater Washington community.

Before joining Fox, Kristin worked as a freelance correspondent for ABC News / NewsOne and spent four years reporting for WUSA-TV (CBS) in Washington, D.C.. She pioneered Field Mouse Films, which specialized in making documentary films for both news outlets and corporate clients including, Uber and Starwood.

In 2009, she moved to Washington after working at KATV (ABC) in Little Rock, Arkansas and KJCT (ABC) in Grand Junction, Colorado. Kristin Fisher also worked as a campaign correspondent covering the 2008 presidential campaigns of Mike Huckabee and Hilary Clinton's 2008 presidential runs as well as Barack Obama's inauguration.

Additionally, she has covered major breaking news stories including, Hurricane Irene and Sandy, the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, and she was a legislative correspondent for the Arkansas General Assembly.

Kristin Fisher has also covered seven space shuttle launches. She got her passion for space from her parents who were both astronauts with NASA.

She graduated in 2005 from the Boston University College of Communication with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

During high school, she spent 3 months living on a glacier in Alaska with the National Outdoor Leadership School.
