Tennant grew up in Broken Arrow, OK and was originally a shy kid. It was only in high school when she joined the color guard that her bubbly personality started to shine through. [undefined] Tennant met her boyfriend, Riley Allen, when he was a sophomore and she was a senior. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2015 [undefined]
After high school, she was employed by a Metro Appliances & More in the Tulsa area.
She also worked another job and attended Tulsa Community College. [undefined] Tennant aspired to be a therapist for children with special needs. [undefined]
Allen planned to propose to Tennant at some point in 2017, he was trying to work out the details.

On March 20th, Tennant came home from work on a lunch break to watch Friends when she discovered Greg Epperson burglarizing her apartment. Epperson then beat and strangled Tennant until she was unconscious. Epperson then went on as he was before and rummaged through her belongings. [undefined]
While the incident was in progress, Tennant's boyfriend called multiple times and received no answer.
He went to her apartment to check on her only to see her laying unconscious and the ground and Epperson robbing the apartment.
Allen then got into an altercation with Epperson, who then fled to an apartment nearby.
The authorities were notified of the incident and Tennant was rushed to a local hospital.
When she arrived she was in brain-dead and in critical condition.
Medical examiners pronounced her dead at 11:50 pm that evening.
Epperson was arrested and charged with 1st-degree murder.
He is suspected of killing two other people over the past 10 years, but police failed to find any evidence for it.
