Jordyn Raya James (born October 22, 2010) is is an American actress who is best known playing the role of ‘Ami’ in the hit Netflix Series “Family Reunion” alongside award-winning actresses Loretta Devine and Tia Mowry. Jordyn Raya has also recurred on the Facebook Watch series “Five Points” and the Amazon Original series “Homecoming” with Julia Roberts. Off script, Jordyn Raya can be seen in the hit YouTube Series “Kids React” by FBE.

Jordyn Raya began her entertainment career at the age of 18 months old, modeling for a well-known toddler brand and has since worked on 50 plus print and commercial campaigns to date.^[16]

Jordyn was born October 22, 2010 in Upland, California. She has diverse ethnicity of African-American, Korean and Caucasian. She started her career in entertainment early on having booked her first modeling gig with Carter's at 18 months.

Jordyn is no stranger to the camera as she has grown with a passion for performance, arts, and music with a strong affection for playing the piano.^[15]

Jordyn began her performance career at the age of 18 months modeling for Carter's and made her first T.V. appearance at the age of 4, in 2014 on the second season of ABC's Bet on Your Baby.

Jordyn's short film debut was in the role of "Young Yuna", the Malaysian Indie R&B singer/ songwriter for the She's Mercedes International Women's Day campaign for Mercedes-Benz called the Female Bond.

Jordyn now reoccurs on the web series Kids React, People vs. Food and Try not to Smile or Laugh produced by Fine Brothers Entertainment. Commercial spots include Doc McStuffins baby nursery Ap and Disney Aqua Beads. Besides acting and modeling, Jordyn does gymnastics and swimming

In 2019, she began starred as Ami McKellan in Netflix’s Family Reunion alongside Tia Mowry and Loretta Devine. ^[15][1]

Jordyn Raya James enjoys spending time with her family and friends and likes to spend time writing songs and stories. Jordyn’s favorite subjects in school are Art and Science. Jordyn Raya has a strong interest and passion in helping the homeless epidemic in Los Angeles and is striving to set up a non-profit organization to provide charitable help.^[16]
