Jeremy Kappell

Jeremy Kappell (born September 23, 1970) is an American meteorologist based in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. He is the former meteorologist at WHEC-TV in Rochester, New York. [1] [2][3]

Education

Jeremy Kappell graduated from Floyd Central High School. He went on to attend Purdue University where he studied atmospheric science.

In the Media

On Friday January 4, 2019, during WHEC-TV's evening broadcast, Kappell stated "Martin Luther Coon Park," when referring to a downtown Rochester park named after the slain civil rights leader. [1]
