Jennair Gerardot was an American professional l marketer who allegedly shot and murdered Meredith Chapman, the lover of her husband, before turning the gun on herself and shooting herself in the head. [1]

Jennair Gerardot was born Jennair Cox and raised in the state of Indiana for most of her life. She was born in the city of Fort Wayne and grew up in the area until her late teenage years. She is a graduate of Bishop Luers High School where she took advanced courses. [1]

Gerardot initially attended Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. where she studied Communications. She was also heavily involved in theatre arts and performances program at the college. [1]
She also continued her studies in communications at Butler University. [1]
In 1996, she earned her BA degree in Communications and theatre arts.
Career
Throughout her life, she held several jobs related to Marketing for several companies in the Indiana area.
She worked in the city of Carmel and also Indianapolis. [1]
She was the marketing manager at Circor Instrumentation for several years before her death.

Murder/Suicide
On April 23rd, 2018, Gerardot waited inside of the apartment belonging to Meredith Chapman, and when she arrived, she shot her to death.
Gerardot then turn the gun on herself and shot herself in the head.
Chapman was a woman who had an affair with Gerardot’s husband, Mark Gerardot.
Jennair had sent emails and texts to her husband indicating her plans to murder Chapman.
Personal Life
Marriage
The Gerardots wed in October 1993, according to Indiana State Library records.
The couple lived and worked in Indiana, including together at Gerardot & Co., a branding & package design agency co-founded by Mark, until 2011.
The couple then moved and worked in the city of Greenville, South Carolina. In the fall of 2017, the couple relocated to Delaware.
