Murder Suicide Plot
On the evening of April 23rd, 2018, just as Meredith entered her home, a woman named Jenn Air Gerardot, shot her to death. Jenn Air then turn the gun on herself and shot herself in the head. Chapman was a woman who allegedly had an affair with Gearadot's husband, Mark.
Jenn Air caught wind of her husband’s relationship, and mapped out her response in a series of text messages and emails that made her intentions clear, police said.
She wanted revenge.
Jenn Air had sent emails and texts to her husband indicating her plans to murder Chapman.
Jenn Air disguised herself by donning a wig, and took a train from Delaware to Radnor, where Chapman lived alone in a three-story brick property on the bucolic-sounding Lowrys Lane.
Chapman and Mark Gerardot worked together at UD since the fall when the Gerardots relocated to Delaware.
