Elaine Mendoza Chappelle (née Elaine Mendoza Erfe, born August 31, 1974), is the wife of American comedian Dave Chappelle. ^{[6] [9] [10]}

As a child, Elaine Chappelle was raised with traditional Christian beliefs from her parents. Prior to her birth, Elaine's parents immigrated from the Philippines to New York City. ^[6]

Growing up, her dream was to become a chef. ^[6]

Elaine Chappelle married Dave Chappelle in 2001.

Together, they have 3 children, two sons (Sulayman and Ibrahim) and a daughter (Sonal).

She is currently a housewife. ^[7]

She and her family live on a 65-acre farm near Yellow Springs, Ohio. It is located near Antioch College, where Chappelle’s father, William David Chappelle III, taught music. ^[6]

The couple made their first public appearance at the annual Philippines-American picnic in Dayton, Ohio in 2010.^[20] Elaine also made an appearance in Dave’s show ” The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium 2017″. That day, Dave dedicated the entire show to Elaine. ^[6] Since introducing his wife Elaine Chappelle to the public, Dave Chappelle has shared in many interviews stories about his relationship and has been seen on many red carpet events with his wife and children in tow.^[20]
