Cody Kolodziejzyk, better known as Cody Ko, is a Canadian YouTuber and Social media Personality. [1] He is based in Los Angeles, California.
Biography
Ko was born November 22nd, 1990 is Calgary. He uploaded his first video to Vine on April 3rd, 2013. [1] Ko rose to prominance when he created the hashtag #6secondauditions where he auditioned as Mary Poppins. [1] He earned 2.9 million followers on the platform before it shut down. Ko currently has a YouTube channel where he uploads commentary about popular content such as Jake Paul, Lele Pons and others. As of April 2018, Ko had over 883k subscribers on YouTube, 393k followers on Instagram, and 667k followers on Twitter.
Cody played the role of Wade in Jimmy Tatro's YouTube series The Real Bros of Simi Valley. For Comic-Con in July 2017, MTV sent him to interview attendees on the street. Cody is a part of the comdey rap duo, Tiny Meat Gang, with Noel Miller. They released their debut album, Bangers & Ass, in December 2017. He has acted in several projects including Camp Unplug (2016), Thoughts (2016) and The Boonies (2017).
Ko is the host of the Insanely Chill Podcast with Noel Miller (Youtuber) where he talks about things that matter to him as well as has guests on.
Controversey
In June 2019, Cody got into some controversy when he was publicly confronted by Jake Paul for being a cyberbully. While on Jeff Wittek's Podcast show, Jeff set up the confrontation and unfortunatley for Cody, he was completley unaware the attack was coming.[41]
Luckily for Cody, the internet consensus was that the video backfired on Jake.
With Cody gaining subscribers from the feud and Jeff later coming out publicly supporting Cody in the matter.
