Brandon Russell is a 22 year-old Neo Nazi resident of the Tampa Palms area in the state of Florida where he has worked in the National Guard. ^[1] He has been given federal charges after police found explosives in his apartment on May 19 where the murders of Jeremy Himmelman, 22, and Andrew Oneschuk, 18, were being investigated.

As of yet it is unknown where Brandon Russell was born but he has been a resident of the state of Florida for years.

He leased his own apartment in Tampa that he shared with three other roommates: Devon Arthurs, Jeremy Himmelman, and Andrew Oneschuk. He considered Devon a sort of mentee where the two would share ideas and were heavily involved in the process of creating conflicts online through their own form of trolling. He and his roommates all shared Neo Nazi beliefs that kept them in line with their overall goal as white supremacists.

He has been a National Guard for the Army for a few years.

He is a fan of Timothy McVeigh and kept a photo of him in his bedroom. He also owns Mein Kampf and The Turner Diaries.

He was the leader of AtomWaffe which is a Neo Nazi and White supremacist division in Florida. He posts as the nickname, "Odin".

He attended the University of South Florida where he studied Engineering.

After living together for some time and being affiliated with the hate group "Atom Waffe", Arthurs had suddenly shifted ideologies and beliefs in an astounding twist of fate as he had decided to become a devout Muslim. He had gotten tired of his roommates who are also his comrades in the hate group berating and ridiculing the Muslim religion everyday.

On May 19th, 2017, Arthurs murdered his roommates, Jeremy Himmelman and Andrew Oneschuk, while Russell was gone completing his service for the National Guard.

He shot each individual point blanc and later died of their gunshot wounds.

Arthurs allegedly said the following while walking to the police vehicle: “Allah Mohammed!

Allah Mohammed!... I had to do it.

This wouldn’t have had to happen if your country didn’t bomb my country".

Arthurs was arrested and law enforcement was able to obtain a search warrant to go inside the apartment.

When they went inside they found that Russell kept large amount of chemicals and explosives enough to build a bomb inside of a cooler.

HMTD (an explosive also known as hexamethylene triperoxide diamine) was found.

They also found potassium chlorate, potassium nitrate, more than one pound of ammonium nitrate, nitro methane, hexamine and citric acid, among other things.

There was also electric matches and empty 5.56 caliber ammunition cases with fuses that could be used to detonate destructive devices once the HMTD was combined with the casing.

He was charged with possession of unregistered destructive devices and unlawful storage of explosive material.

On June 9th, 2017, U.S.

Magistrate Judge Thomas McCoun III of a federal-district court in Tampa said he does not believe there’s “clear and convincing evidence” that Russell is a threat to the community.

He granted Russell a bond request while he awaits the trial.

the public and the media have been concerned over this decision due to the history of Russell which means that he poses a threat to society.
