She is the matriarch of Brazil's famous Machida Karate family.

Ana Claudia is married to Yoshizo Machida.

Together they have four famous sons -Chinzo Machida, Lyoto Machida, Take Machida, and Kenzo Machida.

She has been instrumental in helping her husband establish himself as a Karate Sensei and helping her children pursue their careers in martial arts and journalism.

Her son Lyoto Machida, who is a Ultimate Fighting Championship legend and former UFC light heavyweight champion calls her "the true Machida warrior".
