Alexa Rae Caves (born February 27, 1992) is an esthetician and reality television personality based out of Chicago, Illinois. She has appeared as a contestant on Season 24 of The Bachelor.^[10]

Alexa was born Springfield, Illinois on February 27, 1992. She grew up on the family's farm, and around 2014 Caves left her brother, father, and mother to move to the city of Chicago. The decision was also prompted after the seven year long relationship between herself and her high school sweetheart turned sour. After breaking up with him she moved to the city, went to school to become an esthetician, and started her own waxing salon/business called LexaRae Beauty.^[11][10]

Prior to becoming a reality television personality or starting her own business, Alexa was a Certified Nurse Assistant.^[11]

Alexa started her own business and waxing salon called LexaRae Beauty. She offers waxing services for both men and women, including full body waxes. LexaRae Beauty also offers packaged deals for frequent visitors. LexaRae Beauty is located in Chicago on N. Broadway St.^[12]

On January 6, 2020 Alexa made her reality television debut on Season 24 of The Bachelor. Caves is one of the thirty female contestants on the show competing to marry bachelor Peter Weber.^[22]

In an interview with Extra that aired in December of 2019, Alexa showed off her sense of humor when she was asked what she thought of Peter Weber having sex with one of the contestants inside a miniature golf windmill,^[23]

Host of The Bachelor, Chris Harrison has said that Alexa was a very interesting and energetic contestant, stating,^[25]

As of January 2020 Alexa Caves' Instagram account is relatively quiet. She has over 5,500 followers and posts selfies and photos featuring family and friends. Her handle on the platform is @alexaraecaves.^[24]

LexaRae Beauty, Caves' waxing business also has an Instagram that focuses on her professional life in the salon. She lists herself as a Chicago Wax Specialist and gives a glimpse of the various types of clients that come in and the waxing services they receive.^[12]

Alexa's astrological sign is Pisces. Her hobbies include reading and dancing. Though she's not a fan of roller coasters, she loves amusement parks.^[10]
