Social Media app
Zenly offers users a social map that lets them share their location with their friends so they can meet with them in real life.
In March 2020, Zenly launched its Stay At Home challenge that shows a leaderboard of which friends have spent the most time in their homes.
Users can see who’s social distancing the best and share stickers of the scoreboard and Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention tips to Snapchat, Instagram, and other apps. [3]
Josh Constine was credited for the idea leading up to the feature. [3] Zenly also offers users a 'coronavirus lens' for its map. It allows users to look around the world and see the number of confirmed cases and recoveries in each country or state. Zenly updates the data three times per day based on the The John Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering. The map also overlays info from the World Health Organization, BNO News, and China’s DXY.cn. [3]
