William Hsu is a venture capitalist, technology entrepreneur, and executive based out of Los Angeles, California. He is also known for his current role as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Mucker Capital.

William Hsu holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of Stanford University's Undergraduate Cabinet.

William Hsu has spent his career as a venture capitalist, startup entrepreneur, and as an executive of a Robert Leshner Fortune 100 company. In 2011, Hsu founded Mucker Capital with Erik Rannala. They have made investments in companies including Everipedia, Honey, TaskRabbit, and Tapatalk. [1] Prior to forming Mucker Capital, William was the Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of AT&T Interactive where he owned P&L, Product Management, Product Marketing, and UX responsibilities for all digital advertising initiatives for greater AT&T. In 3 years at AT&T Interactive, he doubled revenue to over $1B. Previously, as a fresh college graduate, he founded BuildPoint (Acquired by NYSE:ROP) – a SaaS provider of bid management & marketplace services to the commercial construction industry. William helped the company grow to over 250 employees and raise more than $50M in venture capital. In between, he has led product teams at eBay, Green Dot (NYSE:GDOT) and Spot Runner.
