Will Riddle is a women's evening wear & bridal designer currently living in New York City. He is known for his work on All Kids Count (2011) and All Kids Count School Violence Prevention (2013).
Education
Career
Will Riddle showed a capsule collection at Lincoln Center, Kansas for NYFW three months after graduation and took a bus with just two Suitcase to start building a name for himself in NYC fashion.
As soon after he arrived, he starts managing the atelier at 3.1
Phillip Lim, and later at Oscar de la Renta, where he was able to work with and learn a great deal from some of the greatest designers, drapers, pattern makers, and sewers in NYC.
Will Riddle has worked with creative teams on many celebrity clients, including Michelle Obama, Nicki Minaj, Camila Cabello, Claire Foy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Megan Markle, Book Zoe Kravitz, and others.
Competition
Fashion design majors Will Riddle of Minerva, Ohio and Sylvia Bukowski of West Chicago, Illinois competed against students from the Rhode Island School of Design, the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Each of the schools in the competition were asked to select two graduating students as representatives.
They were accompanied by an associate professor of fashion, Vince Quevedo, who has served as Bukowski’s faculty mentor, and associate professor of fashion, Sherry Schofield, who served as Will Riddle’s mentor.
Will described the show:
“Each contestant must create a capsule collection from Superior Pima Cotton fabrics supplied by the organization, and each contestant will have to show his or her collection on the runway in Lincoln Center during the September NYC Fashion Week,”
