Tyler Grosso is an American clothing designer and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California.
Early Life
Tyler Grosso is originally from the Charlotte, North Carolina area. When he was 2-years-old, his father left his family and for most of his life it has been him and his mom. In middle school, Grosso was a shy emo kid. As he attended high school, he got inspired into pursuing clothing designs by Odd Future. One of Grosso's first ventures was making Odd Future merch and selling them online through forums in which he made $15,000. After a graphic design class project, Grosso was encouraged by his teacher to start his own clothing line. In high school. Grosso describes himself as "the kid he was friends with all the cliques and didn't give a fuck."
Career
Grosso did one semester of online classes out of high school and was working at a grocery store.
He had been a fan of ASAP Rocky and ASAP Mob since the release of Live.Love.ASAP and learned more about ASAP Yams through articles and videos online. In 2013, Grosso sent a Twitter message to ASAP Yams and connected with Yams on his personally Facebook account.
Grosso would move to New York City with $200 in his pocket to become ASAP Yams' assistant. He worked closely with the members of ASAP Mob including ASAP Rocky. It was during this time that Grosso learned a lot about style and mixing and matching cloths to "pull anything off."
In 2015, Grosso would part ways with ASAP to start his own streetwear brand Superrradical.
His main influences for his brand come from from movies, music and documentaries from the 70s-00s; his clothing has references wot everything ranging from the The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Britney Spears to The Doors.
