Thomas Allen Day Jr. (born October 29, 1962- October 1, 2017) was a resident of Corona, California. He was one of the victims killed in the mass shooting that took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Personal Life

Tom worked as a construction estimator for a living.
Since 1991, he managed general contracting operations for Portrait Homes, Inc. He was the CEO on the day of his passing.
His father, Thomas Day Sr., has two state contractor’s licenses associated with businesses in Corona: Tom Day Construction Co. and Portrait Construction.
Day Sr. remembers his son as a "fun-loving boy" and a "great family man."
He had four children: three daughters and a son.
Together, they would go the Stagecoach Festival every year and would meet up for sports events.
Day especially loved boating with his family on the Colorado River.
In addition, he rooted for the Los Angeles Angels and the Pittsburgh Steelers; he had a Steelers tattoo on his leg. In addition, he played Little League baseball, he coached later in his life. His boss recalls him being very knowledgeable about sports.
Death
On October 1, 2017, Tom attended the Route 91 Harvest music festival. He was there with his kids and his friend Austin Davis. On the last day of the three-day festival, both he and Day were killed in the Mandalay Bay Resort Shooting.
According to Day's father, he was shot in the head.
