Tim Milgram, also known as T. Milly, is a director and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California.
Early Life and Education
Milgram is from Walnut Creek, California and graduated from Northgate High School. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he majored in computer science. During his senior year, he fell in love with dance and took classes with his school's dance department.
Career
Upon graduating from college, Milgram worked a stint as a software engineer before moving to Los Angeles to juggle a tech career and dance career.
It was in LA that Milgram discovered his talent for film and started directing and editing dance videos since 2012.
His big break came in 2015 when Alyson Stoner asked Milgram to film her tribute to Missy Elliot which made it onto YouTube's homepage.
Milgram has directed, shot, and edited over 400 videos and as had his work featured on BuzzFeed, TIME, Billboard, MTV, Entertainment Tonight, and Good Morning America. He has also created content for Mattel, Vogue, Capitol Records, G-Shock, Mania Jeans, and the DanceOn Network.
Milgram's website, tmilly.tv, offers an online choreography classes from instructors such as JoJo Gomez, Jake Kodish, Phil Wright, Eden Shabtai, Delaney Glazer, and Sean Lew. In addition, Milgram has a popular YouTube channel with over 1.8 million subscribers.
