Tillman Freeman III is a resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina. ^[1]

He is the father of Serenity Freeman and Genesis Freeman.

On March 25, 2017, Tillman was arrested and charged with murder after he stabbed to death his two children, 2-year-old Serenity Freeman and 4-day-old Genesis Freeman. ^[9]

The Fayetteville Police Department discovered the bodies of his two children at about 2 a.m. on March 25, 2017, inside a car off the side of the road near the intersection of N.C. Highway 211 and Army Road. ^{[9] [1]}They had been stabbed multiple times. ^{[9] [1]}

Prior to the murders, the mother went to a local hospital by herself and left the girls with Tillman. When she returned home, no one was there. ^{[9] [1]}

Police said Tillman told his wife that he dropped the children off at another location, but she couldn't find them there, either.

She then reported the children missing.

Tillman alleged his wife was seeing another person and that both the children weren't his.

After the allegation and a fight between the two, Tillman Freeman took the children.

At that time he is believed to commit the murders. ^{[9] [1]}
