Tanner Planes is an entrepreneur and influencer based in Kernersville, North Carolina. At the age of 16, Planes started a successful dropshipping Business. He has since been sharing advice on YouTube about his venture as well as his lifestyle on Instagram.

Planes was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina but moved to Kernersville in his youth. From a young age, Planes felt that he was different from his peers. Channeling that energy in a positive manner, in middle school he decided to start his own Vine channel. One particular clip he uploaded went viral and he received 150,000 likes from it while gaining 10,000 followers to his account. Sometime after the video, Planes realized that he did not want to become "Vine famous" anymore and chose a more business oriented career path.

During the summer of 2016, Planes decided to remove himself from social media in order to focus on more traditional business pursuits.

He tried a number of hustles including opening a dropshipping business, being a middleman for promos, lawn care, and more. He soon realized that the missing element to his ventures was social media. In late 2016, he would start an Instagram page to supplement a food delivery service he and his father started, Nomorama. As of March 2018, @nomorama had over 711K followers on Instagram. In addition, Planes launched an online dropshipping course, Zero To One-Thousand. In October 2016, Planes launched UCENT (short for Up and Coming Entrepreneurs), a online community of young people who want to grow their network. As of March 2018, UCENT's Facebook group had over 8.7K members.

Tanner Planes has an active and growing presence on social media. He started his YouTube channel in February of 2014 but did not start uploading videos consistently until October 2017. His videos consists of business tutorials, personal vlogs, and advice. Planes' most popular video is "How I Made $20K In A Day Dropshipping At 16-Years-Old. Planes'Instagram account that documents his active lifestyle. As of March 2018, Planes had garnered over 59K followers on Instagram and 38K subscribers on YouTube.
