Swarangi Marathe (born February 14 1992) is an Indian Actress and Hindustani classical Singer, who works in Marathi Movies and TV series. She is best known Sarpanch Bhagirath (2016), and Por Bazaar (2014).^[1]

Swarangi was born and brought up in Thane, Maharashtra, India. She comes from a Musical background. Her father Pandit Mukund Marathe is a classical singer. Her grandfather was the Lt. Pandit Ramchandra Purushottam Marathe, a renowned musician. Swarangi is trained classical singer as well. ^[2]

She completed schooling from Saraswati Secondary School, Thane. She is a graduate of a University of Mumbai, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree.

Swarangi started her career as a child artist.She

appeared in many Marathi & Hindi serials and films. She rose to fame playing character of Chingi Chingam in the tv series Babli Babalgam in 2000. It was televised on Zee Marathi.^[3]

Since her childhood day, she has acted in many popular soap operas, including Aabhalmaya (2000), Bal Doot, Amarprem, Reshimgathi, Kimayagar (2016).

She has also hosted a dance show Dum Duma Dum in 2016.

She acted in Marathi movie Manus and Bollywood movie Mission Kashmir as a child actress. Her memorable performances came in the movie Por Bazaar (2014), Hridayanath (2016).^[2]

Swarangi lives in Mumbai. She is following a career in acting and also performs in classical singing shows.^[10][13] She is married to Nikhil Kale. She is active on social media, but she has kept her Instagram account.^[12]
