Sophia Beausoleil is a reporter at Channel 5 NBC KXAS-TV. She made her TV debut at KOMU-TV in 2008 and she has also worked for WCIA, KXAN-TV and KPRC as a news reporter. She graduated from the University of Missouri i and she currently live in Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas, together with her husband and her child

Sophia Beausoleil earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Business, at the University of Missouri. She worked as a reporter and a multimedia journalist while she was running her degree program.

Sophia Beausoleil made her Television debut while at KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri while she was still in the University. She spent two years working as a reporter and a multimedia journalist at KOMU-TV. As a reporter at KOMU-TV, she wrote, shot and edited stories and she generated ideas for daily assignments reporting shifts. She also anchor cut-ins for today show.

She resumed as a news reporter for WCIA, Urbana-Champaign in June 2010. At WCIA, she reported, wrote, edited, developed sources, and turned daily assignments under deadline .

She was also a live reporter who covered breaking news, investigative, and feature pieces.

She also makes use of social media like Twitter and Facebook, to enhance her news stories and also post news on the web.

Sometimes, she acts as a fill-in anchor as needed.

She was a news reporter at KXAN-TV for four years and she spent another three years serving at a news reporter for KPRC, Houston, Texas. She joined channel 5 NBC KXAS-TV as a reporter in January 2020.^[1][2]

Sophia Beausoleil 's husband is currently a medical resident in Dallas which is why she and their new baby boy relocated to Dallas Fort Worth.

She loves to working out, listening to music and eating queso.
