Siphesihle Ndaba is an Actress from South Africa best known for her starring role as Mazet in the Mzansi Magic Telenovela Gomora.^[1]

A graduate of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, she studied for a Bachelor of Social Science degree at Rhodes University from 2016-2019, majoring in Psychology, Economics and Drama. ^[2]

She graduated with Honors in Dramatic Arts, specializing in acting, physical theatre and applied theatre.

Siphesihle worked as a English and Economics Tutor whilst working in Theatre. She directed the National Arts Festival play Skinned, in 2018. ^[4]

She landed her first role in Television in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora, starring as Mazet - a gorgeous and dangerous young woman from Alexandra who tempts Ntobeko into a life of Crime. The series debuted on 30 March, 2020.

She’s a Soweto girl .

Siphesihle was raised in Johannesburg, Soweto by her single mother and grandmother.

On her mother’s side, Siphesihle is the last born and the only Girl in her family. She has two older brothers. In total, Siphesihle has 18 siblings with whom she shares a father.

Siphesihle is a Musician at heart .

The actress grew up playing the Trumpet at Church and later on upgraded to playing the Trombone as a member of her high school orchestra.

Siphesihle attended Oprah’s school and graduated from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls. While studying at the academy, Siphesihle immersed herself in Music and became a member of the school’s Jazz band.

Not only did Siphesihle do Music but she also played a variety of Sports including Touch rugby, Tennis and Cricket.
