Shweta Agarwal (born January 23) is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Bollywood and International films. She is best known for Raghavendra (2003), MIRAS (2008) and Shaapit: The Cursed (2010).^[1]

Shweta was born on January 23 in Delhi, India. She completed schooling at a private school in Delhi. She later graduated from the University of Delhi. ^[2]

Shweta made her acting debut in the TV series Shagun in 2001, which was shown on the Star Plus channel. Shweta played the character of 'Aarti' in the series and she became a known face on the television. She made her big screen appearance in Telugu film, Raghavendra in 2003. ^[9] The film had South Indian film star Prabhas in the lead role. In 2008, Shweta had the chance to act in a foreign language film. She played a leading role in the Turkish language drama film, Miras. In 2010, Shweta acted in the multi-language film Tandoori Love.^{[10] [11]} The film was released in five languages, including Hindi, English, Swiss-German, German, and French. Shweta was last seen in 2010 in the Bollywood movie Shaapit^[8] She played the character of 'Kaaya Shekhawat'. The film was produced by Vikram Bhatt and had Shweta and Aditya Narayan in the lead roles.

Shweta lives in Mumbai.

Shweta Agarwal is set to get married to longtime boyfriend Aditya Narayan by the end of the year 2020.^[13]
