Shane Missler is a resident of Port Richey, Florida. ^[1] In January 2018, Missler became a multi-millionaire after coming forward as the winner of the $451 million Mega Millions jackpot. ^[1]

Missler attended Spruce Mountain High School, graduating in the class of 2015. He went on to attend Northern Essex Community College from September 2015 to January 2016, where he studied business management.

Before becoming a multi-millionaire, Missler has worked at Sam's Club, Atkinson Resort and Country Club, Best Buy, and Universal Background Screening, Inc.

On Friday, January 10, 2018, Missler was announced as the winner of the $451 million Mega Millions.

He will receive a lump sum payment of more than $281 million. ^[1]

Missler posted on Facebook, "Oh. My. God.", when he realized he was the winner of the jackpot. He bought the winning quick-pick Mega Millions ticket at a 7-Eleven on Ridge Road in Port Richey.

“I’m only 20, but I hope to use it to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity" he stated after winning.
