Shakia Proctor (better known as "Kia" or "Hazel"), is the longtime girlfriend of NFL quarterback Cam Newton. Proctor is from the Maryland and Virginia area, having lived in both states for several years.
Although it is not known when Proctor and Newton met, prior to dating Newton, Proctor was a stripper before becoming a party host in the Atlanta area.
Proctor has been dating Newton since early 2013.
On December 24, 2015, Proctor gave birth to a son, the couple’s first child.
According to her Instagram, Shakia Proctor had a daughter prior to that from a previous marriage.
