Sara Piana
Sara Piana (born Sara Heimisdottir on July 4, 1989; also known as Sara Heimis) is a fitness model and social media personality. She was Rich Piana's estranged wife before he died of a heart attack on August 25, 2017.
Early Life
Sara Heimisdottir was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland.
In 2010, when she was 21 years old, Sara left her native country of Iceland to study at the University of Central Florida. She studied psychology and law.
Relationship with Rich Piana

In June 2015, it was reported that Rich Piana was dating Sara Heimis.
This helped her gain fame in the bodybuilding industry.
The couple started making workout videos together and recording moments of their daily activities.
In September 17, 2015, Sara and Rich Piana got married at the 2015 Mr. Olympia. The couple had a double wedding with Cody Knapek and Danielle DeGroot.
Before getting married, they had "King" and "Queen" tattooed on the outside of their hands.

In the beginning of November 2016, Sara and Rich Piana broke up.
Both Rich and Sara took to social media and recorded videos for their reasoning as to why they ended their relationship.
On November 8, Rich posted a video he was naiive and came to the conclusion that she only wanted to marry him because she wanted a green card; he overheard a conversation Sara had with her mother about it.
In addition to his ultimate claim, he caught her stealing money from his bank account and putting them into other secret accounts.
After a one-week hiatus, Sara took to Instagram to respond to Rich's allegations made towards her, as well as their break-up:

As most of you are aware, it's been a very difficult and personal time that required some time to reflect w/out social media. Since I've had some time away & I'm now on, I feel it's time to address what's been happening (as difficult as this may be for myself and for you all). I am super sad and heart broken to say that Rich and I have decided to take a break. We still have so much love for each other, and believe in one another whether together or separated.... But regardless, when you're working as a team the goal is always to win & when you aren't the best you can be as an individual you'll never win as a team. Losing is never an option. So as hard as it is to accept taking some time apart- long term it is going to be the best thing we can do to improve & keep reaching our goals. With that being said, I am so upset and it breaks my heart to see so many questioning my intentions in a relationship, a marriage with someone I LOVE. Materialistic things & finances were and never are the motive. They make life easier as a couple, as a partner but if we lost it all tomorrow I would still love him all the same. I know this is beyond IG and FB & I WILL be posting a video to my YouTube Channel so you can get better clarity on who I really am & how I feel about this all. Leaked Video (Scam)
Full version of the leaked video of Rich Piana condemning Sara Heimis for doing what she did to him
Later on, a leaked audio clip (recorded by Sara herself) was spread on the Internet of Rich Piana rebuking Sara Heimis for conniving and stealing money from him.
It was concluded that Heimis was giving money to a meth dealer.
In the video, Rich appears to be selling Anavar, an anabolic steroid. It has been claimed that Sara wanted to use the recording to blackmail Rich and extort money from him.
In the clip, Rich also tells Sara that her mother wants them to make up so Sara can get a green card.
Minutes later, he implies that she might blame her thieving on her drug abuse.
It is around this point when he starts talking about her addiction to meth.
Halfway into the fully-recorded conversation, Rich suspects she is doing something scandalous, because she has headphones on her phone.
Before the conversation, she promised she would never have headphones in her phone ever again.
As a result, Rich kicks her and her mother out of his house.
Richard Piana's Death

On August 25, 2017, Rich passed away.
Despite his claims that their marriage was officially annulled in 2016, Sara alleges that they were still legally married at the time of his death.
Sara posted a photo of them together on Instagram with the following caption:

I am so saddened & heartbroken that he didn't make it. I just want to say THANK YOU Rich for teaching me so much about life, whether it was the easy or the hard way. We had our ups and downs but we sure had an awesome time in each other's presence along with us fighting through some dark times together. You truly touched many people's heart and helped so many!!! It inspired me in many ways to see the huge impact you had on people all over the world. Not many people know that me and him are STILL legally married till this day despite all rumors. I have NOTHING to gain by saying that but want everyone to know the truth. I know that people say stuff on social media but I truly am not the "bad" person people think I am. I actually saved Rich's life 1 time before, glad I was there for him at that time. Rich, I hope you feel better now in heaven and that you're up there healthy, smiling & telling everyone "how it is, being REAL & doing your thing".
