Sandi Schultz Sandi Schultz is a South Africa actress best known for her role as Dr Jennifer Adams in the Afrikaans language "soapie Binnelanders". She was a main credited cast member on the drama series Honey Town and was a host for South Africa broadcaster M-Net for two years.[1][3]

Sandi Schultz was born in 1964. Her birth Name is “Sandi Anthea Schultz” and her height 5' 6" (1.68 m). She has a cousin Known as Elma Smith and family member known as Jocelyn Prinsonsky.

Education

Sandi Schultz is a graduated from the University of Cape Town and UCT Drama School, South Africa.

Career

Sandi Schultz earlier stage career include a year-long run as Magenta in the original South Africa production of The Rocky Horror Show, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Hermia in Midsummer Night's Dream. On television, Sandi Schultz worked as a continuity announcer for M-Net for a number of years and hosted various shows for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) when not busy acting in film, television and theatre projects. [2]

During 12 years in Los Angeles, she had parts written for her on NYPD Blue with Dennis Frantz and Rick Schroeder, and City of Angels with Blair Underwood. On returning to South Africa in 2005, she played one of the leads, Dr. Jennifer Adams in the KykNet/M-Net series, Binnelanders.

Since 2013 she has been free-lancing and has been acting in various film and television projects, most recently, playing Dez in While You Weren't Looking, Jamila in the German production, Rosa 2, Wolken Uber Kapstad and Maggie in the mockumentary, Hotel for Kyknet.

In 2014, Sandi turned to producing, and co-wrote and co-produced the Independent Feature, Assignment with Laszlo Bene through her company Klonkie Made Media.

She has also had roles in the pilot episodes of the television shows Drumbeats, Two Hearts City and Odd Man In.

Sandi was one of the celebrity contestants on M-Net's Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina, in 2010.

She also filmed the series "Blood & Water" where she played the role of Nicole Daniels, a Netflix original which will be released on 1 May, 2020.

Sandi Schultz has been married to American actor John Savage since 1993.

John Savage is the ex-husband to Susan Youngs (1967 – 1969) (they got divorced)

He is the older brother of actor Jim Youngs and Gail Youngs. The younger sister, Gail Youngs, was once married to actor Robert Duvall from 1982-1986.

John Savage had a son, Lachlan Youngs, and a daughter, Jennifer Youngs, from his first marriage to Susan Youngs.

Trivia

She is a hula-hooper and fire-dancer.
